The Kansas City Royals take a commanding 2-0 lead in the ALCS, with the help of a comeback win 6-3 over the Toronto Blue jays.
The Royals sent pitcher (Yordano Ventura 13-8 4.08 ERA) to the mound, while the Blue Jays sent (David Price 18-5 2.45 ERA).
This game is very simply summed up by the Kansas City Royals pulling off an incredible comeback, down three to zero and exploding in the seventh on David Price after he was dealing through the first six innings.
The Seventh inning was an inning to forget for the Blue Jays, it all got started on an error by Blue Jays second baseman Ryan Goins who allowed a pop up to drop and David Price's meltdown after squandering a three run lead.
David Price final line was 6.2 innings, six hits, five earned runs and eight strikeouts, while Yordano Ventura went 5.1 innings, eight hits, three earned runs, two walks and six strikeouts.
The Kansas City Royals ultimately took the lead on an RBI double by Alex Gordon and that would prove to be the game winning hit.
The Kansas City Royals now take a 2-0 lead to Toronto, where the Blue Jays will be playing with some urgency and panic.
Game three will be Monday October 19th, with the Royals sending Johnny Cueto to the mound and the Blue Jays sending Marcus Stroman, this will be a must win for the Blue Jays if they are to have any chance moving forward.
